ORDER HANDLING & DELIVERY

Goods are sent by Royal Mail tracked services or other couriers depending upon weight and value.

Certain products (usually marked "H" in our catalogues) need special handling and incur extra charges as do some delivery addresses in the highlands and islands. If items weigh more than 30kg or surcharges apply we will provide you with a quote for shipping, you may then decide whether to proceed .Over 95% of orders are despatched on the day received with the majority delivered on the next working day, but delays are inevitable at weekends, public holidays, and times of severe weather conditions.

NB ORDERS ARE HELD UNTIL COMPLETE - ANY ITEMS BACK ORDERED MAY RESULT DISPATCH BEING DELAYED

Please ensure that deliveries are checked immediately upon arrival - any loss or damage MUST be reported within 24hrs of receipt.

GOODS NEEDING REFRIGERATED STORAGE

These are stored in our cold room within the range 2C to 8C until orders are packed with melted cool packs at the same temperature and kept in the cold room until handed to the courier. They are sent by a "next working day" service and someone needs to be available to receive them. Please note this cannot guarantee a product will always arrive below 8C. This can be arranged by a specialist refrigerated courier on request for most mainland addresses at a minimum cost of £170+VAT. Inevitably on rare occasions packages may be slightly delayed but this should not cause any problems as products are tested to ensure that they can tolerate "short term excursions from controlled conditions" The International Requirements are that they should be stable and not deteriorate when stored for a minimum period of 6 months at 25C.

Overseas customers are advised to ensure that any imports of goods including medicines are permitted by their customs and regulatory authorities, we cannot be responsible for any seizure, loss, or damage. Prices quoted include VAT where applicable at current rates if delivered to UK addresses. Goods sent overseas may be subject to domestic taxes such as VAT at their destination.

RETURNS

We want you to be completely satisfied with any purchase. If not any item except for medicines and products specially obtained or manufactured can be returned to us within 14 days of receipt for exchange or refund if unsoiled, unused including the original packaging and tags, and sent adequately packed and carriage paid.

Due to legal requirements medicines may not be returned except to correct an error in despatch or in response toan "official recall". If an item is believed to be faulty it may be necessary to forward it to the manufacturers for testing before replacements or refunds can be authorised. This does not infringe statutory rights. Please contact our customer services for a "Returns Number" which must appear on the outside of the package or it will not be accepted. We advise customers to use an insured method of shipping and to retain proof of despatch.
