Administration:

Drontal Worming Tablets can be given with food or directly to your dog, making it convenient and easy to use.

Protecting Puppies and Controlling Toxocara:

It's crucial to treat puppies for worms. To control Toxocara, puppies should be treated every 2 weeks of age until they reach 3 months old, and then at 3-month intervals. In cases of heavy roundworm infection, the treatment can be repeated after 2 weeks. Please note that dogs weighing under 3 kg should not be wormed with this product.

Maintaining Adult Dog's Health:

Adult dogs should be treated with Drontal Worming Tablets every three months, except for dogs in farming areas where more frequent worming may be necessary (as often as every two weeks). Our reliable formula ensures your dog's health and well-being.

Fleas and Worming:

Did you know that fleas can carry tapeworm larvae? By swallowing an infected flea, your dog may develop a worm infestation. That's why it's essential to regularly worm your dog with an effective dog wormer and use an appropriate flea treatment if your dog has been in contact with fleas.

Recognising Worm Infestation:

Some symptoms of worm infestation include irritation of the bottom, dragging the bottom across the ground, vomiting, a dull coat, a lack of vitality, loss of appetite, or a pot-bellied appearance, which is more common in puppies. If you notice any of these signs or any unusual behavior, we recommend consulting your vet. However, it's important to note that dogs infected with worms may not always show visible signs. That's why we suggest regular worming every three months with products like Drontal dog worming tablets, and even more frequently (up to twice a month) for dogs that hunt or scavenge.
