Feeding Guidelines
Promax comes in three sizes; small, medium and large designed to meet the needs of every size of dog. Each tube provides three once-a-day measures. Simply turn the wheel each day to easily feed it to your pet. Promax can be given with or without food and is designed to minimise waste.

Promax is a unique combination of:
Montmorillonite clay helps to absorb extra liquid, coat the gut lining and has excellent adsorbing qualities, up to 20 times better than kaolin clay
Probiotic high numbers of lactic acid producing Enterococcus faecium E1707 help to return a healthy balance of gut bacteria
Prebiotic mannanoligosaccharides are used to aid healthy digestive function by promoting the activity of helpful bacteria
Glutamine is the most important nutrient for the cells lining the intestines.

Refrigerated items will be sent by carrier or Royal Mail with coolpacks unless you pay for a premium for a refrigerated delivery. We will contact you prior to despatch for your instructions.


We want you to be completely satisfied with any purchase. If not any item* can be returned to us within 14 days of receipt for exchange or refund Please give us a ring for a returns number on 01833 641112 or alternatively email [email protected] to obtain a returns number.

*Due to legal requirements medicines may not be returned except to correct an error in despatch or in response to an "official recall". If an item is believed to be faulty it should be returned for inspection and it may be necessary to forward it to the manufacturers for testing before replacements or refunds can be authorised. This does not infringe legal rights. Please contact our customer services for a "Returns Number" which must appear on the outside of the package or it will not be accepted. We advise customers to use an insured method of shipping and to retain proof of despatch. We may refuse returns on products specially obtained or manufactured to order. Items must be returned unsoiled and unused and sent adequately packed and carriage paid.

How often can you give Promax to a dog?

If the condition does not improve following a complete course of treatment (3 days) we would suggest seeking veterinary advice. If the issue recurs regularly then veterinary advice should be sought to ensure correct treatment of the underlying cause. 

Does promax have side affects in dogs?

Please speak to your veterinary surgeon. Equest Pramox Oral Gel is formulated specifically for use in horses only. Dogs or cats may be adversely affected by the concentration of moxidectin in this product if they are allowed to ingest spilled gel or have access to used syringes. 

Can you give promax to a 8 week old puppy?

We advise you use this under supervision from your veterinary surgeon when treating young puppies as they can become dehydrated quite quickly. 

Can you keep unused promax in fridge after using and if so for now long ?

Once opened the product will last 6 months or until the expiry date (whichever is shorter) Reseal with cap and do not store above 25°C.
