Presentation
A clear oily solution for injection.
25 mg Nandrolone Laurate BP (Vet.) per ml.
This product also contains 10.4% w/v Benzyl alcohol.
Uses
Nandrolone is a testosterone derivative which can be used in the supportive management of chronic renal failure.
Dosage and administration

As with all hormone therapy there can be considerable variation in response to treatment; the above dosages may need to be adjusted according to clinical response. Treatment may be repeated every 21 days.
Administer by subcutaneous or intramuscular injection, observing the usual aseptic precautions.
Contra-indications, warnings, etc
1. Androgenic side effects may be seen in animals treated with Laurabolin, especially in entire female animals.
2. Laurabolin should not be used in pregnant animals.
3. The product may cause a strong urine odour in cats.
4. To be used with caution in known cases of hepatic impairment.
Operator warnings
Use in pregnancy may result in virilisation of the foetus, therefore it is advisable that pregnant women avoid using this product.
Avoid accidental self-injection of this product.
Wash hands after use.
For animal treatment only. Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
Pharmaceutical precautions
Laurabolin should be protected from light. Do not store above 25°C. Swab the septum before removing each dose. Use a dry sterile needle and syringe. At low temperatures the product may become viscous. Warming the product in the hand will return the contents to the normal state.
Avoid the introduction of contamination during use.
Following withdrawal of the first dose, use the product within 28 days. When the container is broached (opened) for the first time, use the in-use shelf life which is specified on the package insert to calculate the date on which any product remaining in the container should be discarded. This discard date should be written in the space provided on the label.
Dispose of any unused product and empty containers in accordance with guidance from your local waste regulation authority.
