I ordered this and the 200mm collar for our female Umbrella Cockatoo. The 200mm completely stops her from self harming, we put it on at night or if she is in her cage (with our Oranged Winged Amazon) when we are not there. As soon as we are with her we take the collar off; this allows her to preen and play normally. I will say that our Amazon still runs rings around her playing table football.<br /><br />We bought the 140mm collar to give her more movement, as this does allow her to preen her legs and rump area, but prevents her getting at her chest.
