This product was recommended by my vet after my older dog started having seizures, we don't have the time or patience to brush our pets teeth so we use this, apparently bad gums on pets cause problems for their internal organs too, such as liver, kidneys and heart, not just affecting their teeth, we now purchase it online as it's half the price! With 3 dogs and cats we go through it, it's quick and easy, we've noticed we don't get the scum around our dogs water bowls anymore so they're easier to wash out and keep clean, it also proves that Aquadent's antibacterial properties must be true. Aquadent makes us measure our pets water and also acts as a guide as to how much they're drinking, we replenish as soon as the bowls are empty (around 1 1/2 - 2 litres per day), 1 litre in the dogs bowl and 1/2 litre in the cats.
