Cavy Performance - Young Guinea Pig Food is a high-fiber, alfalfa-based diet fortified with nutrients essential for growing, pregnant and nursing guinea pigs. Growing guinea pigs require more protein, calcium and energy. Cavy Performance - Young Guinea Pig provides an optimized balanced protein source, containing the amino acids required for the growth and health of your guinea pig.
Guinea pigs require daily supplementation with Vitamin C. Cavy Performance - Young Guinea Pig includes Stay C-35, a stabilized form of Vitamin C with a 12 month shelf life. Each 1/8 cup of Cavy Performance - Young Guinea Pig contains 22 mg. of Vitamin C. To guarantee adequate Vitamin C intake, be sure the animal is eating the appropriate amount of Cavy Performance - Young Guinea Pig. If additional supplementation is needed, provide Oxbow's Daily C chewable tablets.
Although Cavy Performance - Young Guinea Pig Food is an excellent complete feed for guinea pigs, unlimited access to fresh grass hay should also be provided. Choose from Oxbow's Western Timothy Hay, Orchard Grass Hay, Oat Hay, Organic Meadow Grass, or Botanical Hay to provide additional natural fiber. Made from timothy grass meal, Cavy Cuisine - Adult Guinea Pig Food is specifically designed to meet the particular nutritional needs of adult guinea pigs. Adult nutritional needs are different than those of animals in the growth stage of life.

Refrigerated items will be sent by carrier or express delivery at a cost of £7.50, with coolpacks, unless you pay for a premium for a refrigerated delivery. We will contact you prior to despatch for your instructions.
