Symptoms of stomach pain and bloating can be caused by the build up of trapped wind. Wind-eze is specifically formulated to relieve these symptoms by gently dispersing the tiny bubbles of trapped wind, without risk of embarrassment.
Active Ingredient: Each chewable tablet contains simeticone 125mg (activated dimeticone).
Also contains: starch, sorbitol (E420), tribasic calcium phosphate, citric acid, talc, peppermint flavour, non-pareil seeds (sugar and starch).
Use for: Relief from the symptoms of stomach pain and bloating due to the presence of trapped wind.
Dosage: 1 Tablet to be taken 3 to 4 times daily (or as required for relief of symptoms) after meals and at bedtime. The tablets must be chewed before swallowing. Not recommended for children under 12 years.
Warnings and precautions: The product should not be used in patients with known allergy to any of the ingredients. This medicinal product contains 0.4g of sorbitol. When taken according to the dosage recommendations each dose supplies up to 0.4g of sorbitol. Unsuitable in hereditary fructose intolerance.
Can cause stomach upset, diarrhoea and in rare cases allergic reactions such as rash, itchiness, swelling of the face or tongue and breathing difficulties. If you take too many tablets or your symptoms persist or worsen with or without the use of Wind-eze or you experience any undesirable effects, seek medical advice.
Wind-eze can be taken safely during pregnancy and whilst breast-feeding since simeticone is not absorbed by the body. However, as with all medicines, ask your doctor for advice before taking this product.
