Vetrazin blow fly strike pour on for sheep 2.2L is for the prevention of blowfly strike in sheep and lambs for 10 weeks after dosing. Vetrazin Pour-on must be applied with the Novartis Pour-on gun. Best results will be achieved by holding the gun approximately 18'' from the sheep during application.

Presentation
A clear pink solution containing 6% cyromazine and pink marker dye.
Uses
For the prevention of blowfly strike (Lucilia sericata) in sheep and lambs for 10 weeks after dosing.

Dosage and administration
Vetrazin Pour-on must be applied with the Novartis Pour-on gun. Best results will be achieved by holding the gun approximately 18′′ from the sheep during application.
For whole body protection
Apply along the spine of the animal in a band (at least 4′′ wide) from the middle of the shoulders to the rump and around the crutch and tail.
Half the dose should be applied along the spine with the remainder over the tail and crutch area.

For protection against tail and crutch strikes only
Where experience shows that animals are susceptible to tail/crutch strikes only and body strikes are not a problem, protection against fly strike in the tail/crutch area can be achieved by applying Vetrazin Pour-on to this area alone.

Vetrazin Pour-on is for prevention of blowfly strike and should be applied before an anticipated blowfly challenge. Retreatment may be necessary every 8-10 weeks under conditions of extreme blowfly challenge.

Contra-indications, warnings, etc
Animals must not be slaughtered for human consumption during treatment. Sheep may be slaughtered for human consumption only after 3 days from last treatment.
Vetrazin Pour-on must not be used on sheep producing milk for human consumption.
Wash hands and exposed skin before meals and after work.
Wash splashes from skin and eyes immediately.
Do not smoke whilst using the product.
Empty container completely and dispose of safely.
For external use only. For animal treatment only. Keep out of reach of children.
Pharmaceutical precautions
Protect from frost. Protect from direct sunlight. Store below 25°C. Shake the container before use. Store in tightly closed original container. Store away from food, drink and animal feedstuffs.
