Contains mebendazole, one of the benzimidazole wormers suitable for horses and donkeys and active against benzimidazole sensitive large and small redworms, ascarids, seatworms and lungworms. Will not kill tapeworms or bots. Lungworm Infections in donkeys need a higher dose over 5 days. Normal dosing interval every six weeks. If cover against tapeworm is needed praziquantel (Equitape), Equimax or a ‘double’ dose of Pyrantel (Pyratape P or Strongid P) (ie two tubes of paste or 4 sachets for an average horse) at the beginning and end of the grazing season.
