Often the easiest and most cost effective way to treat sheep is via an oral drench. For the treatment of worms then Panacur 2.5% is a cost effective way to do this. Panacur 2.5% is effective against both mature and adult stages of gastro-intestinal and lung worm.
Albenil will also treat roundworms and lungworms, but is also effective against tapeworms. Albenil will also treat for liver fluke and is an effective ovicidal, i.e. Albenil will kill fluke and roundworm eggs. Valbazen is a similarly broad-spectrum product with proven efficacy against worms and fluke.
To target fluke specifically then Fasinex is the ideal product. Designed as a flukicide, Fasinex should be used frequently in sheep exposed to pastures containing fluke. As a rough guide Fasinex should be used at ten-week intervals from March/April through to October/November.
