Flubenvet 240g premixture 2.5% Flubendazole wormer is a broad-spectrum anthelmintic for oral administration, active against mature and immature stages of the following nematodes of the gastro-intestinal and respiratory tract. White, medicated premixture containing 2.5% w/w flubendazole.

2.5 % (w/w) white to slightly yellow, medicated premixture containing 25 mg/g flubendazole.
Flubendazole is a broad spectrum anthelmintic for oral administration, active against mature and immature stages of the following nematodes:
Ascaridia galli
large roundworm
Heterakis gallinarum
caecal worm
Capillaria spp.
hair worm
Amidostomum anseris
gizzard worm
Trichostrongylus tenuis
Syngamus trachea
gapeworm
Flubendazole has no adverse effect on egg laying and hatchability.

Dosage and administration
For oral administration only
Incorporation
Add required amount of Flubenvet 2.5% Medicated Premixture to at least 5 kg of one of the feed ingredients and mix well. Thoroughly mix this premix with the remaining ingredients making in all one tonne of medicated feed, which can be fed as pellets, mini-pellets, starter pellets or crumbs.
Dosage
1.Pheasants and partridges: 2.4 kg Flubenvet 2.5% Medicated Premixture per tonne of feed. Dosage equivalent to 60g of flubendazole per tonne of feed (60 mg/kg). Treat for 7 consecutive days.
2.Chickens and geese: 1.2 kg Flubenvet 2.5% Medicated Premixture per tonne of feed. Dosage equivalent to 30g flubendazole per tonne of feed (30 mg/kg). Treat for 7 consecutive days.
3.Turkeys: 800 g Flubenvet 2.5% Medicated Premixture per tonne of feed. Dosage equivalent to 20 g flubendazole per tonne of feed (20 mg/kg). Treat for 7 consecutive days.
240 g Tub Only
Incorporate the required amount of Flubenvet 2.5% Medicated Premixture into the daily feed ration. Treat for 7 consecutive days.
The 240 g pack of Flubenvet 2.5% Medicated Premixture medicates 200 kg of pelleted chicken or goose feed, 300 kg of turkey feed or 100 kg of pheasant & partridge feed.
Treatment frequency
On infected premises treatment at 3 weekly intervals may be necessary to control worm infestations.

Contra-indications, warnings, etc
Withdrawal periods
Meat
Birds must not be slaughtered for human consumption during treatment. Chickens, turkeys, geese, pheasants and partridges: Meat: 7 days after the end of treatment.
Eggs
Turkeys, geese, pheasants and partridges: eggs must not be presented for human consumption during treatment. Eggs may be presented for human consumption only after 7 days from the end of treatment.
Chickens: Eggs may only be presented for human consumption during and after treatment when dosed at the rate of 30 ppm in feed ie. 1.2 kg Flubenvet 2.5% Medicated Premixture per tonne of feed.
Operator warnings
Accidental ingestion by humans should be avoided. Avoid direct skin contact. Wear overalls, safety glasses and impervious gloves when mixing and handling the product. Wash affected parts if skin contact occurs. If accidental eye contact occurs, immediately rinse thoroughly with water. If the operation involves potential exposure to dust, either a half mask respirator (European Standard EN149) with disposable filter, or a non-disposable respirator (European Standard EN140) fitted with a filter (EN143) should be worn.
Disposal
Dispose of empty containers in the farm refuse. Used containers should not be recycled.
For Animal treatment only. Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
Pharmaceutical precautions
Store in tightly closed original containers. Do not store above 25 °C. Accurate mixing is essential. The product will remain stable in the finished feed for up to 8 weeks. The product can be incorporated into pelleted feed preconditioned with steam for up to five minutes at temperatures of 77 °C and can withstand pelleting temperatures up to 116°C.
