Foot rot can be a problem throughout the year, but particularly when sheep are housed for extended periods. Foot Rot Aerosols have been widely used to treat foot rot in sheep. The Foot Rot Aerosol contains cetrimide as the active ingredient. We also stock Foot Master spray from Net-Tex which has a widely researched formulation for increased efficacy. Foot Master spray will only require one application in most cases.
In order to treat foot rot effectively it is always advisable to clip away excess hoof and generally clean up the site of the infection. Hyperdrug would always recommend using specially designed Foot Rot Shears to ensure safety for both the animal and the owner. Our Foot Rot Shears come with either plain or serrated edges.
