Detailed Description

Equimax®is an all-in-one, combination wormer containing two different active ingredients ivermectin and praziquantel Equimax is capable of treating multiple-specie infestations. This means Equimax® has the best combined efficacy and the broadest spectrum of activity of any wormer.

Equimax contains Ivermectin and Praziquantel. For the treatment of infestation due to adult and immature roundworm, lungworm, Bots and tapeworm.
Use Spring and Autumn as a single dose for tapeworm.
Lasts 8-10 weeks.
One syringe will treat 700kg bodyweight.
Can be given to pregnant mares.

Equimax® is for use in all horses that have mixed infestations of roundworms, tapeworms and bots, and is the only product registered to treat all 3 species of equine tapeworm (more information : see Package Insert).

The formula of Equimax® is unique to Virbac and is protected by international patents in Australia, USA, Europe and, in other countries.

Safety Studies have proven Equimax® is safe to use on all types of horses. Equimax® has been proven safe in stallions at 5x the recommended dose rate and, in pregnant mares at 3x the recommended dose. It is equally safe on foals at more than 5x the normal level, and can be safely administered to foals from 2 weeks of age.

Equimax® is a fluid, oral gel formulated for rapid administration and a reduced risk of wastage.Equimax has been flavoured with green apple to make it especially appealing to your horse. Equimax® is presented in a specially designed Syringe that is more accurate and easier to use.

This wormer for me is a real winner. My horse is not difficult to worm, but really accepted this one as if she was offered a bowl of carrots! The syringe itself is a good shape as well. It covers a good bodyweight and treats a large range of worms for a good period of time. Minimal amount of packaging used for this one too. Over many years of using wormers, this one comes out on top for me.

Equimax works out cheaper than using a tapeworm and other wormer and this is a cheap price!
