DAP (Dog Appeasing Pheromones) Spray 60ml |
|
Dog Appeasing Pheromone is a substance naturally released by lacatating females to reassure and calm their offspring. Canine appeasing pheromones is secreted by the bitch from around 3 to 5 days after the puppys birth. This enhances attachment between between the puppy and its mother and conveys signals of well-being. The reassuring properties of canine appeasing pheromones persist into adulthood.
D.A.P, the analogue of the natural dog appeasing pheromones has already been shown to help dogs in numerous situations: fear of fireworks and thunderstorms, distress when left alone, grief following the loss of a companion, worry caused by changes in the environment (new house, new owner, visitors...)
D.A.P. Spray is used to help comfort puppies and adult dogs in situations they may find worrying or which make them apprehensive both inside and outside the house. A particularly appropriate application of the D.A.P Spray is in the car.
Dog appeasing pheromone provides reassurance and comfort in such challenging situations. The dog feels more relaxed and is less apprehensive of new surroundings.
D.A.P. Spray can be applied in the car, in the carrier, in the travelling cage, on bedding and in kennels, which makes it particularly suited to holiday travel.
In the house, the spray may be used to complement the effect of D.A.P. Diffuser where a more local application is required, in kennels, bedding or refuge areas for example.
