Cimicat is a scientifically prepared milk substitute for cats of all ages. It helps give cats and kittens a smooth, sleek fur and promotes good health.
The ideal mothers milk substitute, Cimicat nourishes cats and ensures proper rearing of orphan kittens or those in large litters and also provides the pregnant and lactating queen with the essential substances for nutrition and growth.
Cimicat contains easily digested proteins for growth, a source of energy from fat and carbohydrates, together with a combination of minerals, trace elements and vitamins for peak condition and health. Unlike cows milk Cimicat has a reduced lactose level to mimic cats milk.
From birth to 4 weeks old, a dilution made up of 1 part Cimicat to 3 parts water should be fed in accordance with the quantities shown in the feeding guide. From 4 weeks onwards, the dilution is made up of 1 part Cimicat to 4 parts water. The chart should be used as a guide.
Guide to feeding (using 5ml spoonfuls of prepared Cimicat) Age 1-3 days- Feed 1/2 spoonful every 2 hours Age 4-7 days- Feed 1/2- 1 spoonful 10-12 times daily Age 6-10 days- Feed 1- 1 1/2 spoonfuls 10 times daily Age 11-14 days- Feed 2- 2 1/2 spoonfuls every 3 hours Age 15-21 days- Feed 2 spoonfuls 8 times daily From 21 days up to 6 weeks- 2 1/2- 5 spoonfuls in addition to normal diet, 3-4 times daily.
Mixing instructions: - Using water that has just been boiled (not boiling water), add a small volume to the Cimicat Powder and mix to an even paste. Then dilute with the remaining required volume of water, stirrign all the time.
Allow the mixture to cool to body temperature (38c/100.4F) Quantities of prepared milk must be stored in a refridgerator and used within 24 hours. Required amounts for subsequent feeds should be warmed to 38c/100.4F. Always mix thoroughly, a whisk or household blender may be useful.
