WHAT IS CERUMOL AND WHAT IS IT USED FOR ?
CERUMOL EAR DROPS will help the removal of ear wax from the ears. When deafness or pain in the ear is caused by blockage with wax, the use of the ear drops may avoid the need for syringing or make syringing easier.
IS IT SAFE FOR YOU TO USE CERUMOL?
Do not use the drops: if the ear drum is perforated
or: if the ear canal is sore or inflamed
If you are concerned that either of these apply to you, consult your doctor or pharmacist.

USE OF THESE EAR DROPS WHEN YOU ARE PREGNANT OR BREASTFEEDING
Absorption of any of the constituents is very limited. There is no evidence that any
harm would arise. If you are concerned about the effect this medicine may have on your unborn or breast feeding child, speak with your doctor or pharmacist.
ALLERGIC REACTIONS
Allergy to Cerumol or oil of turpentine is extremely rare. If you are concerned about having an allergic reaction, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
IF ACCIDENTALLY TAKEN BY MOUTH
The chlorobutanol in the whole bottle might cause a child to be very sleepy.
Consult your doctor immediately if this happens.
INSTRUCTIONS TO PATIENTS
Make sure you know how to use the ear drops: see the next page. Note that the ear
drops are only to be used in the ear canal! Note that the drops may produce a tingling feeling in the ear.
KEEP OUT OF THE SIGHT AND REACH OF CHILDREN.
Do not use for more than three days without consulting your doctor.
