| Alvita Blood Pressure Upper Arm Monitor: Fully Automatic, Easy to Use
Alvita Blood Pressure Monitor: Measuring your blood pressure at home can help you understand your condition, and help you to feel more in control of your own health.
Your heart acts asa a pump, circulating blood around the body and helping supply it with oxygen. Blood pressure is the force needto for the heart to push blood around your body's arteries. The highest pressure in this cycle is when the heart contracts (Systolic Blood Pressure). Between contractions, the heart relaxes and blood flows into it, as it is now at lowest pressure (Diastolic Blood Pressure). Both Blood Pressure readings - Systolic and Diastolic - are necessary to evaluate the status of a patient's Blood Pressure.
High Blood Pressure affects millions of people every year. High Blood Pressure in many instances shows no symptoms, but can lead to an increased risk of heart & circulatory problems, including heart failure, stroke or a heart attack. The Alvita Blood Pressure Upper Arm Monitor helps you to take control of your health, from the comfort of your own home.
